Biography

Conrad Clark starred in the weekly podcast series Lucky Day.

Conrad was born in 1998.

On New Year’s Day 2007, Conrad, aged eight, met the Fifteenth Doctor and Belinda Chandra outside the TARDIS whilst they were waiting for a Vortex Indicator reading. He took a 50p coin from the Doctor, who proclaimed it Conrad’s “lucky day”, and left to tell his mother about the TARDIS. (Lucky Day)

A poster for Lucky Day described the podcast and featured an image of Conrad Clark along with the hashtag “#ConradClark”, urging readers to subscribe. (Lucky Day with Conrad Clark)

In 2024, Conrad saw the TARDIS but before trying to break in, he heard the Shreek in a nearby shop. Investigating, he became covered in Shreek vomit, marked for the hunt, before observing The Doctor and Ruby Sunday. He secretly took a picture of Ruby entering the TARDIS and posted it on social media, asking people if they knew her. In 2025, Ruby got in contact with him and he interviewed her for his podcast. He got into a relationship with her as part of a ruse so that he could use her to expose UNIT for spreading lies about aliens and monsters and wasting UK tax payers’ money.

Conrad used a contact, Jordan Lang, to get information about UNIT. He used the information to leak the names and addresses of its employees. Eventually, he managed to gain access to UNIT HQ to get more information. After stealing a gun and shooting Jordan when he got in his way, he made his way to the main control deck, livestreaming to aid the exposure. At gunpoint he tried to get Ruby, Shirley Bingham and Kate Lethbridge-Stewart to admit that his conspiracy theory was true, including besmirching Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart’s reputation to enrage Kate. When Kate set the captured Shreek on him, he admitted that his conspiracy theory was lies. However, after Ruby tasered the Shreek, he returned to calling it all “special effects”, before the Shreek recovered and bit his arm off.

Afterwards, he was imprisoned by UNIT, having had his arm reattached using alien tech. The Doctormaterialised his TARDIS around him and chastised him, firstly for how he used Ruby and then for weaponising lies and degrading the work The Doctor did. Not fully believing what he saw, Mrs Flood appeared, reassuring him it was real, calling herself “the Governor”, and proclaiming it Conrad’s “lucky day”, jangling his cell’s keys. (Lucky Day)

LATER LIFE

According to The Doctor, Conrad died in a prison cell, “boiling in anger and poison” until his heart packed in at age 49, “alone and unloved”. (Lucky Day)

LEGACY

When the Fifteenth Doctor met Belinda Chandra, he mentioned that he had sought her out due to being told about her by someone, explaining, “It’s kind of a long story, and I’ve got to be careful about timelines. But he told me your name, like you would be important.” (The Robot Revolution)
