Piscimorpha grandis, roughly meaning “big fish”, was a scientific appellation made up on the fly by UNIT for one of the species comprising Earth’s Aqua Kind. Unlike the more reptilian Homospondyls, or Sea Devils, and the amphibious Homomorpha sapiens, the Piscimorphas resembled giant fish and did not seem capable of surviving in dry air, with their two representatives remaining in the water throughout the initial negotiations with humanity.
