Sunshine Sally was a side character in the Mr Ring-a-Ding cartoons. She was a friend of Mr Ring-a-Ding.
She and Mr Ring-a-Ding met when Mr Ring-a-Ding one beautiful day decided to go to town, where she told him he was a stranger to Sunny Town and demanded he introduce himself, at which point Mr Ring-a-Ding told her to not make him laugh and sang his self-introductory song. He asked her for her name, and she introduced herself to him, after which he told her not to give her sunshine as he was more interested in moonlight. Sunshine Sally blankly stared at him, then disappeared. (Lux)
In one cartoon, when Mr Ring-a-Ding was singing to wake up the Easter Bunny on Easter morning, Sunshine Sally asked him why he was being so loud at an early time in the day. (Mr Ring-a-Ding)
