Vasilisa was the stepdaughter of Toshka and was sent to Baba Yaga to get a burning ember after accidentally extinguishing their only candle. The Fugitive Doctor met her and knew that she would become a legend of the Slavic people. As the snow and rain fell, The Doctor allowed her to take refuge in her TARDIS to rest. She didn’t feel that it was right to steal the ember from Baba Yaga’s stove when The Doctor and she explored Yaga’s hut. She did Baba Yaga’s task to try and win her favour but when the Spectral Horseman died creating more dust she became worried until The Doctor found a different way to clean it. Baba Yaga gave her a skull lamp as a reward. The Doctor told her to leave her step-family. (The Legend of Baba Yaga)
