Kid was a Hellion terrorist. His mother was shot and killed during the Corporation’s invasion of Hellia before she was able to tell anyone the name she had picked for him, causing people to refer to him simply as “Kid”. He grew up with Cora Saint Bavier and Wynn Aura-Kin. He was filled with hatred after the Corporation destroyed his homeworld and vowed revenge. Because the 803rd Interstellar Song Contest was sponsored by the Corporation, he created a plan to kill everyone in attendance of, participating in, or viewing the event. 

The first phase of the plan involved infiltrating the systems of Harmony Arena, where the contest was being held, and taking members of TV crew hostage. The second phase was to lower the air shield on the arena, sucking all of the guests and contestants into space to freeze to death, while switching the feed to the dress rehearsal so no one would suspect anything was wrong. The final phase was to reconfigure the station and use it to broadcast a delta wave to the three trillion viewers, killing all of them. His accomplice in this was Wynn, who he had become romantically involved with and had helped him infiltrate the station by becoming a member of the Contest’s TV crew. 

The Fifteenth Doctor was able to extend the mavity field of the station before the air shield went down, so while the attendants were frozen by the temperatures of space, they did not die, but rather entered a state similar to cryogenic stasis. The Doctor used a hologram to distract Kid while he snuck into the control room and used his sonic screwdriver to destroy the delta wave device. The Doctor then used hard light holograms to torture Kid by repeatedly shocking him. Once Belinda Chandra made it to the control room and saw what The Doctor was doing, he became horrified at his actions and ceased his torture of Kid. Kid was then arrested. While in holding, he heard the Hellion song that Cora performed for the contest, and wept at it. (The Interstellar Song Contest)
