Marlene DuBois was a photographer and friend of Kevin. She was intrigued by the plants in Kevin’s late father’s house. She was creating an arts project by taking pictures of places with the same name. She dismissed Jackie Tyler’s assertions that they were on an alien world and thought the Slitheen family incursion was a hoax. After seeing one of the locals she took photos of it, and then a fly like creature which then attacked her leading to her death. (Snare)
