BBC Studios have announced the Blu-Ray and DVD release date for Doctor Who: Resolution
We’re still just over two weeks away from the New Year’s Day Special, Resolution, being broadcast on BBC One. But already the DVD and Blu-Ray release has been confirmed and the special is available for pre-order from Amazon, HMV and other good retailers from the 18th of February.
In Resolution The Doctor and her Fam discover that a member of the most dangerous species in the universe has been buried on Earth since the 9th century. In the present day this ancient evil threatens to take the entire Earth under its control. But can The Doctor, Yaz, Graham and Ryan stop it before its too late? And what role will Lin, Mitch and Aaron play in events?
Resolution sees the entire Series 11 cast return. Meanwhile, guest stars Charlotte Ritchie as Lin, Nikesh Patel as Mitch and Daniel Adegboyega as Aaron joining the action. Showrunner Chris Chibnall has written the script for Resolution, and Wayne Yip has directed the special.
Details of the special features on the discs and the BBFC certification are yet to be confirmed
