Joy Almondo’s mother died alone on Christmas Day 2020 at the Royal Hope Hospital.
Due to the rules that were in place at the time, Joy could only speak to her through an iPad. Joy expressed her hope that she would be able to come and see her as soon as “all of this nonsense” was over, unaware that it would be their final conversation. (Joy to the World)
