Mach-Teldak was a visitor to Amsterdam. She had golden skin and compound eyes. She told Nyssa that he people were attacked by the Nix. She employed Rembrandt van Rijn to draught her a schematic for a spaceship with Polsbroek made for her. She used a genetic shield to hide her from the Nix. She wanted to use the Fifth Doctor to change time to stop the Nix from detroying her people, when he refused she just wanted to see her homeworld one least time. She then forced The Doctor to take her into the future. She lied to The Doctor as she destroyed her people. (The Waters of Amsterdam)
