They first appeared 50 years ago in the 1972 3rd Doctor Jon Pertwee story ‘The Sea Devils’. They then returned with their cousin species the Silurians in the 5th Doctor Peter Davison story ‘Warriors of the Deep’ in 1984.
Now they’ve come back for more in the 2022 Easter special ‘Legend of the Sea Devils’ against the 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker!
