Could It Be Magic?
Does It Show?
Nesta was a woman who lived in Phoenix Court. (The Blue Angel, Could It Be Magic?, Does It Show?)
In Phoenix Court, she was well-known for “stealing milk”, (Could It Be Magic?) although she did always ask first. (Does It Show?) On one occasion, she abandoned her husband and children and went off with “the Dog-man” – a man who dressed and acted as a dog – to escape the difficulties of life. She and “the Dog-man” were eventually found out, and she returned to her family. (Does It Show?) At a later date, she engaged in a “sit-in” of a café with Penny, Liz, Big Sue, and some others in order to prevent its closure for sanitary concerns. (Could It Be Magic?)
When Nesta and Big Sue found themselves under attack by a giant sentient owl species – who were there to extract Ian, although the ladies didn’t know this until much later – the “Jane Fonda” Iris rescued them into her TARDIS, the number 22 to Putney Common. After escaping the owls, Ian insisted that the ladies leave Iris’s ship and use Maddy Sharp’s car, the Morris Minor, to travel through one of the many blue Corridors, aiming to arrive at the City of Glass to give Ian back to his father, by his wish. Instead they were driven off-corse by a blockage in the Corridors, and fell into the giant owls’ world.
Nesta stayed long enough to become the leader of a group of savages there, and upon the arrival of Iris Wildthyme and Fitz, she encouraged her people to kill them. (The Blue Angel)
