Synopsis

More of the Doctor’s mysterious past is revealed as Doctor Who: Origins tells a new tale of the Fugitive Doctor

In 2020, we were introduced to a brand new incarnation of the Doctor in Jo Martin’s Fugitive Doctor in Fugitive of the Judoon. A former agent of the mysterious Division, she was on the run, hunted by her own people, and doomed to one day have all her memories erased. Now Titan Comics are exploring this most secret period of the Time Lord’s life with Doctor Who: Origins.

Set before Fugitive of the Judoon, the four issue mini-series features her at work for Division… alongside her Weeping Angel companion! This month’s Doctor Who Free Comic Book Day 2022 Edition began the epic adventure with the travelling Time Lord. It served as a lead-in to the explosive new story arc that reveals the veryearly years of the Doctor.

The story continues in Doctor Who Origins #1 out on the 8th of June, 2022. It’s a brand new, never-before-seen adventure featuring the Jo Martin incarnation. Discover why this regeneration became known as the Fugitive as she works for the mysterious Division on a dangerous assignment. It’s a mission during which she uncovers something insidious afoot.

The series sees the creative team behind hit Doctor Who comics Missy and Time Lord Victorious, writer Jody Houser, artist Roberta Ingranata, and colorist Warnia K. Sahadewa return to the TARDIS for an unforgettable new journey.

Origins #1 also comes with a choice of our variant covers, including for the first time ever, a Doctor Who comic features a glow-in-the-dark Weeping Angel Cover. The Weeping Angel cover is an exclusive available from Another Universe in America and Forbidden Planet in Europe.
