Caroline Finch was the wife of Clive Finch they met at Durham University when his UFO society and her Reclaim the Night Enclave groups had both booked the same venue. His group left, but Caroline tracked him down to a bar, where she apologised. They talked together through the night.
Caroline later married him, and they had two sons together, Ben and Michael. (Rose)
Caroline grounded Ben after he broke the window of their neighbour, Mrs Townsend, whilst playing football. She forbade him from television and video games. (Grounded)
On 5 March 2005, she was shocked that a girl came to see her husband’s research on The Doctor. While out shopping, the Autons began invading, (Rose) so Clive sacrificed himself upon realising all his theories about The Doctor were true, giving Caroline and their two sons a chance to run away, they were chased and eventually surrounded by two armies of Autons.
When the Nestene Consciousness was stopped, Caroline and her sons had survived. Experiencing all this, she realised all of her husband’s stories were true, and only one person was to blame. She vowed to find The Doctor and to have her revenge. (Rose)
