Angstrom was an Albarian pilot.

Half of her family, along with half the population of Albar, was wiped out by the Stenza when they invaded to “cleanse” her home planet. Her wife was also killed, and the rest were driven into hiding. Angstrom thus entered the final Rally of the Twelve Galaxies, hoping to use the prize money to get her surviving family members to safety. She emerged as a joint winner alongside the Muxteran Epzo. The Albarians were a humanoid race native to the planet Albar in the Twelve Galaxies. Though they were externally identical to humans, Angstrom was unfamiliar with the planet Earth and human beings, calling them “Moomenbeans” (The Ghost Monument)
