Androgums were a barbaric, primitive humanoid race used for menial labour in the Third Zone.
BIOLOGY
Androgums were human-like in basic appearance, but with large, orange eyebrows and grey warts around their face. Androgums had heavy builds, and could easily overpower a human. They were had enormous appetites, able to consume massive amounts of food with little discomfort. (The Two Doctors) they were also significantly tougher than a human, Roz Forrester once punched an Androgum on the chin and only broke her fist. (Shakedown)
CULTURE
The principle attribute of the Androgums was their affection for nourishment and eating, as they had about unquenchable hungers. Androgum law was that the satisfaction of delight was the sole thought process of activity. Androgums would eat about anything, including vermin and wise species (even, it was implied, Androgums).
Androgums were part into groups called Grigs, for example, the Quawncing and Franzine Grigs. These Grigs were of extraordinary significance to the Androgums, who felt solid faithfulness to their bloodlines. (The Two Doctors)
Androgums had a recipe for a beverage called Sugary Shiplanos. The drink was a favourite among them. (Snowglobe 7)

HISTORY
On the Space Station Camera, Androgums were regularly utilised as laborers or subjects for examinations. Numerous Androgums were utilised in the worldly analyses of Kartz and Reimer. In spite of the fact that all were fruitful, there was no chance to get of recovering them, such a large number of Androgums may litter the future and past. Another Androgum, Chessene, had her intelligence artificially augmented by Dastari. Androgums on Camera were killed in the Sontaran attack. (The Two Doctors)
